Writer’s Terminal Velocity?

I have been stuck at the midpoint of my novel manuscript for months. It feels like some sort of writer’s terminal velocity: net force, zero; net acceleration, zero. The chapter in question is boring. It’s bleh. And I don’t know how to fix it. I’ve killed so many darlings. I’ve made every mistake in the beginner writer’s book of what not to do, violated every natural law of literature…
